Jefferson Vineyards on the Today Show

Posted by: Sarah In: Uncategorized

Crozet Pizza is legendary in the Charlottesville area (and apparently the world according to National Geographic) as the best place to get a pizza. This small pizza joint serves up pies made with their own special dough recipe that isn’t too thick or too thin.

Afton Mountain Vineyards is known for its delicate wines with some unique varietals that you don’t find too many other places in Virginia, like Sangiovese and Gewurtaminer. Check out my review of the winery on Roaming Virginia.

Photo of the Week: Family Time

Posted by: Sarah In: Uncategorized

I’m away from the blog this week spending a little quality time with my family.  In that spirit, I thought I’d share a picture of my brothers and sisters and I taken off a hiking trail at Wintergreen resort in the last few minutes of sunset.
