Tony and Elizabeth Smith are the new owners of Afton Mountain Vineyards and were kind enough to do any e-mail interview with me about Afton Mountain, why they decided to purchase a vineyard and their future plans for the winery.

Afton Mountain Vineyards is known for its delicate wines with some unique varietals that you don’t find too many other places in Virginia, like Sangiovese and Gewurtaminer. Check out my review of the winery on Roaming Virginia.
